A four-wheel drive Porsche crashed on Maidstone Road, Rainham, demolishing three walls, two concrete gate posts and a lamp standard. These pictures show the scene afterwards.
It looks as though the £80,000 wagon may have been written off.
The driver was detained by the police to face drink-drive allegations at Medway magistrates court.
